If you are still hugely impressed then the next stage is to submit an application to us. The selection process has been designed as a two-way process to allow you to learn more about us, as well as being a chance for us to assess your abilities and potential.

Application Process

Stage 1
Follow the links from this website to the Milkround website where you will be required to fill in an initial questionnaire and attach a CV and covering letter. All CVs submitted will be reviewed and assessed against a number of competencies which have been identified as key to British Sugar.  We may also contact you at this stage to seek further information.

Stage 2
The second stage of the application process involves online assessments, including numeric and verbal critical reasoning.  As well as assessing your IQ we will also gain an insight into what motivates you and your personality.  All of these factors will be assessed against our requirements. 

Stage 3
The First Round interviews are held at one of our sites or are conducted by telephone. At this stage, we look to assess technical ability where applicable.

Stage 4
The final stage of our recruitment process is the Assessment Centre. Again these are held at one of our sites. During an Assessment Centre, there will be a mix of both formal and informal elements, including a chance to discuss your chosen scheme with current managers or graduates over dinner. All candidates will be assessed in a variety of ways including presentations, role-plays, group exercises and an interview.
